Confronting the Discomfort (H.O.P.E Learning Centre)

In this four-session course, students will learn and practice skills for dealing with stress and anxiety.  Concepts covered will include emotional reactions and reacting versus responding to give students an understanding of how to control their stress reactions better.  Students will start to think about themselves and their responses differently, learning strategies to help them grow their resilience.

  • gain a deeper understanding of their body’s response to emotional activators and how that affects their anxiety
  • participants will learn practical skills to help them respond to their anxiety
  • participants will be able to set goals for themselves based on their own experiences

Course Details: 4 week virtual sessions starting July 2nd, 2024

Tuesdays @ 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Location: This course is being offered on site at CMHA Saskatoon, registrants will have access to their own computer to participate, along with support from our staff.
