Anger is a natural emotion we all experience at times. When anger is managed, and we feel in control, this emotion can be positive and constructive. However, when we lose control and anger takes over, the consequences can be disastrous for ourselves and others. This 4-part course will help students learn how to manage their anger constructively. Students will learn the different forms of anger, how to identify warning signs and activating events that lead to anger, how anger affects our bodies & minds and the techniques to de-escalate our response to anger so we are prepared for difficult, highly emotional situations.
