Workshop Descriptions

Self -Awareness

Date: May 27th @ 10am – 2pm (lunch is not provided)

  • How well do you know yourself?
  • Why does self-awareness matter?

Self-awareness is foundational to our identity.  To become more self-aware, we need to recognize our strengths and areas for improvement, which means exploring how we communicate and how we learn to adapt. As we develop a greater understanding for ourselves, we make more meaningful choices and build stronger relationships.

Motivation

Date: June 3rd @ 10am – 2pm (lunch is not provided)

  • Why is it so hard to be motivated?
  • What actually helps us stay motivated?

Our motivation acts as an inner force that helps us achieve a desired outcome, but sometimes life’s challenges lead us to lose sight of what motivates us. Daily stressors leave us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted making it difficult to find our motivation. If you are feeling low on motivation, there are steps you can take to boost your energy and take action, regaining a sense of control and enhancing your overall well-being.

Exploring Skills

Date: June 24th @ 10am – 2pm (lunch is not provided)

  • Where do our skills come from?
  • How do we learn new skills?
  • What are some barriers we experience when learning a new skill?

Everyone has skills and you probably use them every day without even thinking about it. It is important to celebrate these skills but also learn to be open to building new skills. When we try new things, it encourages us to step outside of our comfort zone, helping us build our confidence and self-efficacy.

Time Management

Date: June 30th @ 10am – 2pm (lunch is not provided)

  • How do we prioritize our tasks?
  • Why do we sometimes avoid certain tasks?

It is not always about being on time; it about learning how to organize ourselves to ensure the important tasks are taken care of.  However, procrastination gets in the way, pulling us off track and leaving us feeling overwhelmed.  It helps to explore why we are avoiding tasks to overcome and feel like we can move forward, starting with small steps.
