DESCRIPTION:Men’s Support Group Terms of Reference \n  \n 💡 Mission Statement \nWe are a group of men looking to break the stigma of men’s mental health. Together we want to listen\, understand\, validate\, respect and honor one another. Together we can learn to stop hiding in the shadows and create a positive atmosphere where vulnerability is not only welcomed but encouraged. \n  \n 🛤 Comradeship \nWe are a diverse group of men from all walks of life. We come from different ethnicities\, religious groups\, races and creeds. \n  \n ❓ Goals \nWe  want to provide a space where men can overcome the shame\, and be welcomed to be vulnerable and accepted to  cope with environmental factors and the lack of resources men face in regards to mental health. We wish to unravel the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. \n  \n💬 Meetings \nMonday 6:30pm – 9:00pm @ 1301 Ave P North\, CMHA Building \n  \n🗣 Facilitators \nRob Bagley at mensmnetalhealth.sk306@yahoo.com Jason Burns at mensmnetalhealth.sk306@yahoo.com \n  \n📄Guidelines \nConfidentiality. Participants in the Men’s Mental Health Group are required to not disclose confidential information in regards to respecting other participants vulnerability and without consent of the identified person. \n  \nRespect one another\, no verbal abuse will be tolerated \nShowing up to the group meeting while intoxicated will result in you being removed and escorted off property. Everyone in the space is equal: \n-no racism \n-no homophobic or transphobic remarks will be tolerated \n-religious bashing or any other forms of discrimination will not be accepted in this group Everyone has a chance to speak if they choose
